A new survey by McAfee shows that company managers may want to take more responsibility for data backup, as they are largely unaware as to how secure their company's information is at a data center. 
There are hard questions that need to be asked of the cloud service provider, including how much cloud backup will cost and how quickly data will come once it has been backed up. 
According to CodeFutures CEO Cory Isaacson, using cloud backup for disaster recovery is a smart way to do business for any enterprise. He called it a "good early move" in making a move over to the cloud. 
Kevin Casey of InformationWeek said there are more options than ever for businesses to have a data backup solution, but he wonders why many small- to mid-sized businesses haven't yet taken to backing up their information. 
Although many healthcare organizations have failed to recognize it, cloud backup could actually be the most effective format of data storage available to them.
